• Fifteen years of involving students in a School Science Fair; the chosen projects then competing in the Provincial Schools Science Symposium.
• Six years (four schools) in charge of the Junior Science Department inventories and ordering of chemicals, supplies and books.
• Five years organizing a French Bistro and Talent Night where students are actively involved in advertising, inviting, cooking, serving, hosting and entertaining parents and friends.
• Organized a Wake-a-thon where we raised $2000.00 for Help Fill a Dream Foundation.

• I approach teaching as a facilitator of student learning, by establishing a clear goal for each lesson using IRP's set out by the B.C. Ministry of Education; intermediate goals for the unit and long term goals for the year, being aware of the students' understanding; monitoring them closely and updating the parents regularly, emphasizing the development of the students' critical thinking skills, assuring that the students feel supported as they learn by creating a balance between my teaching goals and their learning needs.

• Apr 1982 to June 1990:     Teaching in Manitoba Schools: Math 7, 8, 9 and Science 7, 8, 9 in French Immersion and Programme Câdre; supervised five student teachers; Middle School Philosophy.

• Aug 1978 to Nov 1981: Radiochemical Lab Technologist, Radiopharmacy, Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba. I supervised other lab technologists, synthesized radiopharmaceuticals for the Nuclear Medicine Department and instructed the Chemistry courses to the Nuclear Medicine technologists in training at Red River Community College. I coauthored three radiochemical research papers and presented 2 of these papers.
• Summer 1977: Freshwater Institute on U of M Campus: research on Pacific Coast salmon.
• Sept 1976 to Apr 1977: Lab Demonstrator, Chemistry Department, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg: prepared, demonstrated and taught lab periods for Chemistry 02-120 Students; helped correct final exams.
